Rocksbox Review 2: What's in the box?

Friday, April 17, 2015

Happy Friday, blog world! Any day I get a Rocksbox in the mail is a great mail day. And I have to say that I have not been disappointed by any of my Rocksbox sets yet. What I love about Rocksbox is that the stylists genuinely try to get a feel for your individual style, noting the pieces you've kept from previous boxes, the ones you've sent back, and the ones that you request. The "wish list" section is also fun, because you get to browse through an unbelievable list of designer jewelry (my personal favorites are Loren Hope and Kendra Scott) and add any pieces that you like to your wish list. This also helps out your stylist a lot, because it shows which pieces you are really interested in receiving. And who doesn't love designer jewelry at a fraction (20% off) of the retail price? If you love beautiful jewelry and are on a budget, Rocksbox is perfect for you! The cost of Rocksbox is $19/month, but when you consider that you're receiving three pieces of designer jewelry that are retailed for $200+, that's an amazing deal! You can always try a month of Rocksbox for free by entering the code "brunettebargainistaxoxo" at checkout when you sign up, that way you get to see how the process works AND rent gorgeous designer jewelry free for an entire month. Sounds like a win-win to me! ;-) For more information on how to sign up for Rocksbox and how it works, check out www.rocksbox.com

In this post I will be showing you the gorgeous pieces that I received in my latest Rocksbox. So here they are!

The first piece that I received was the Margaret Elizabeth teardrop bangle in fuchsia. I have been obsessed with cuff bracelets lately and find that they make for the perfect arm party, as you can stack them with watches or other bracelets. I particularly love this cuff, because the fuchsia color is so vibrant and it glistens in the sun! I'm pretty sure that I've worn this cuff every day since I received it. It is also adjustable, so if you have tiny wrists like mine it won't fall off or slide too much, which is definitely a plus!

The next piece that I received was the Perry Street Jane necklace. Cobalt blue is a very popular color right now, and rightly so-- it's gorgeous! This necklace is no exception. The blue tones in this necklace really stand out because of how beautiful and bold they are. I especially love wearing this necklace with a white or yellow top!

And last, but certainly not least, here is the Gorjana Esme Cutout ring that I received. Gorjana jewelry is simple, feminine, and delicate, but it makes a statement. I love this ring because it has a unique shape and the tiny crystals set in the top and bottom corners add a little something special. If you're a ring person, this is a pretty ring to add to your collection.

So there you have it. Those are the lovely designer pieces from my latest Rocksbox. I am anxiously awaiting my next Rocksbox, which should be arriving in a few days! While some people choose to wait for their Rocksbox to arrive and enjoy the element of surprise when they open it, I'm usually so excited and impatient that I have to check online to see which pieces I am receiving before I receive them (yes, they post them once your Rocksbox is sent out). And a little birdie told me that I'm receiving a Kendra Scott necklace...yippee! :-)

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

xoxo, Britt
